The Sunrise Beach Resort is located on the very far western end of Panama City Beach, just before east of Sharkey's Restaurant.  It has become the most desirable area because it is quiet, family oriented, away from the crowds and the traffic jams, and still close to the nicest restaurants and attractions.

The Sunrise Resort is located only 2 miles east of the Hwy 79 intersection of Front Beach Road.  If you are coming from the east of Panama City, do not come down Hwy 231 all the way to Panama City - traffic gets really bad in that area.  Take I-10 or another route west over to Hwy 79 and go south.  You will miss about 45 minutes of downtown PCB traffic during the spring and summer seasons!

Sunrise Beach is also conveniently located close to the City Pier and the new Pier Park shops and restaurants.  The Target store and Longhorn Steakhouse are open and many other places will be opening soon, including a big movie theater!
